The BARMIS online marketplace is a portal established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security, as an online platform for providing easier access by producers of local agricultural commodities to wholesalers, retailers and consumers as a whole, in Barbados. 

This Bajan Online Marketplace provides a forum for facilitating dialogue and negotiations between buyers and sellers for the marketing of local agricultural products. 

Users of this portal can advertise their commodities, see what products are available for sale, or request to purchase a commodity.  The site, however, does not facilitate monetary transactions.
